Every spray application starts with a product. Knowing what's in that product — active ingredients, registered rates, resistance groups, withholding periods — is fundamental to compliance. Today we're releasing the Product Catalogue.
Comprehensive product database
The catalogue covers the agrichemical products used in New Zealand viticulture:
- Fungicides for disease management
- Insecticides and miticides for pest control
- Herbicides for weed management
- Adjuvants and surfactants
- Fertilisers and nutritional products
- Wound dressings and plant growth regulators
Each product record includes the manufacturer, formulation type, active ingredients with concentrations, and ACVM registration status.
Label rates and directions
Products display their registered label rates for grapes, including rate ranges, water volumes, and growth stage restrictions. When you're recording a spray application, you can see immediately whether your planned rate falls within label directions.
Resistance code tracking
Resistance management matters. Each product shows its FRAC code (fungicides), IRAC code (insecticides), or HRAC code (herbicides). When planning spray programmes, you can see at a glance which mode-of-action groups you're using and avoid over-reliance on any single group.
Pre-Harvest Intervals
The catalogue includes PHI data — not just the domestic NZ withholding period, but intervals for key export markets where MRL differences affect harvest timing. This is foundational for the automated PHI calculations we're building into spray recording.
Your products vs. the full catalogue
The system distinguishes between the full reference catalogue (read-only, maintained centrally) and products you've added to your own account. You can add custom products, adjust rates for your specific operation, or flag products you use regularly for quick access.
